Welcome to the Tees Rivers Trust

From Fell-side to Teesside…

We are a charitable organisation, reg no:1128953, committed to improving and conserving the River Tees. Our work is varied and covers the whole of the catchment from Cross Fell to the North Sea. Our key areas of work are research, education and practical habitat improvements. The Trust is also proud to be the host organisation for the Your Tees Catchment Partnership.

Like all Rivers Trusts around the UK, we are predominantly a ‘feet wet’ organisation – we like to get in there and find out what’s going on. We work closely with many community groups and the Tees and its tributaries benefit greatly from the work that they put into improving local water courses.

Our website is almost complete and will enable you to see exactly where we have been working and give more detail on the specific projects that we are involved with as well as some of the projects that we have completed.

You can find out what we are currently doing on a daily and weekly basis by visiting our Facebook page or alternatively check out Live Updates page on the website. You can also visit our Twitter page and join in the ever growing network of river enthusiasts.
